Privacy Notice

The website is run by Aventus Global Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202644305G) (“Aventus Labs”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in Singapore at 152 Beach Road, #23-02, Gateway East, Singapore 189721. We handle personal data in line with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).

This notice covers the website only. Our products, including Athena, and our client engagements have their own terms, which we provide separately.

When you contact us. The contact form, the “Get in touch” window and the website assistant ask for your name, email address and message, and optionally your organisation, phone number and the services you're interested in. If you book a call through the assistant, we also receive the time you picked and your answers to its questions (what you need help with, organisation size, timeline and up to six questions you asked it). We use this only to reply to you and arrange the conversation you asked for.

When you leave a review. Our review page asks for a star rating and written feedback, and optionally your name, company and email. To stop spam we also record a one-way scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address, your browser's user-agent string and the page that referred you. We use reviews to improve our service and to follow up if something went wrong.

Testimonials. If you tick “Aventus Labs may quote this on our website”, we may publish your review with the name and company you gave. We won't publish a review without that consent. You can withdraw it at any time and we'll take the quote down.

Posting to Google. The review page may offer a link to post your review on Google. If you follow it, you're posting directly to Google under Google's own terms; we only record that the link was clicked.

When you browse. If you allow performance cookies, Vercel Web Analytics records page views, the referring site, and your general device, browser, operating system and country. It doesn't use cookies or identify you personally. Like any website, our hosting provider also processes your IP address to deliver pages and keep the service secure.

When you email or WhatsApp us. We keep the correspondence so we can reply and keep a record of our dealings with you.

We don't sell personal data, use it for advertising, or ask for sensitive data such as NRIC numbers. Please don't include anything sensitive in a message.

By submitting a form or review, you consent to us using the details you provide for the purposes above. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing hello@aventus-labs.com. We'll stop using your data and tell you of any consequences, for example that we can no longer reply to an open enquiry.

We share personal data only with service providers that run parts of the website for us:

• Vercel hosts the website and provides the optional analytics.
• Resend delivers your enquiry to our inbox by email.
• Google (Google Workspace) runs our email, where enquiries are kept.
• Supabase stores reviews in a database.

When an enquiry or review arrives, our team also gets an alert in a Telegram group chat. The alert contains no personal data: no name, contact details or message.

We may also disclose personal data where the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.

The website's server functions, which receive your form and review, run in Singapore. Our email providers (Resend and Google) and our review database (Supabase) may store or process data outside Singapore, including in the United States.

• Enquiries: 12 months after our last contact with you, or 24 months if we're still in discussion, then deleted. If you become a client, your details move to our client records under the agreement we make with you.
• Reviews: 24 months after you submit them, then deleted, or sooner if you ask. A review we quote as a testimonial, with your consent, stays up until you withdraw that consent.
• Analytics: aggregated statistics only, kept by Vercel under its retention policy.

We use a small number of strictly necessary items to make the site work, and one optional analytics tool. We don't currently use functional or targeting (advertising) cookies, even though the settings panel lists those categories.

You can change your choice at any time in Cookie Settings.

You can ask us to:

• tell you what personal data we hold about you and how it has been used;
• correct anything that's wrong or incomplete;
• delete your data, or stop using it, by withdrawing consent.

Email hello@aventus-labs.com. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we'll reply within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact Singapore's Personal Data Protection Commission at pdpc.gov.sg.

Data travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access to enquiries and stored reviews is limited to the team members who need it, and the credentials for them are kept on the server, never in the browser. No system is perfectly secure, but if a breach affecting your data occurs, we'll notify you and the PDPC where the PDPA requires it.

We'll update this page when what we collect or how we use it changes, and revise the effective date at the top.
